Metro PCS is a new player on the New York Cell Phone Market

Consumers in New York City have a new option for wireless service as cell phone provider Metro PCS has entered the market.

Metro PCS offers flate rate calling plans with no obligation. In NYC they will be competing with major players Verizon and ATT Wireless in addition to many other prepaid wireless carriers.

Breaking through in the NYC market won't be easy for any new provider as most residents already have cell phone service and are content with their carrier.
